The essentials: Kalc is an educational app. Full access is bought once (one-time payment, no auto-renewing subscription). The publisher does its best to ensure the app works well, but does not guarantee a specific academic outcome.

Kalc is a mobile mental math training app, available on iOS and Android, that adapts to the school programmes of middle school students (UK Year 7-10, US Grade 6-9, and equivalents in French and Spanish-speaking systems) and to adult self-learners. It uses a spaced repetition system (SRS) to personalize practice sessions.
No account creation is required. Your data is stored locally on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account (iOS) or Google backup (Android).
You agree to use Kalc for personal purposes and in line with its intended use (mental math training).
Kalc downloads for free. One skill is accessible without purchase (Multiplications). Full access (all skills + Chrono mode) is available via two purchase options:
Displayed prices are in the local currency applicable to your storefront, taxes included where required. Payment is processed by Apple via the App Store on iOS, and by Google via Google Play on Android.
Purchases are one-time, non-recurring. There is no subscription to cancel.
In case of mistaken or defective purchase, refunds are managed directly by the platform:

All content in the app (code, design, educational text, "Real life" snippets, visual identity, "Kalc" brand) is protected by copyright and belongs to LMT Digital Creations.
You may use the app for personal purposes. Any reproduction, distribution, or commercial use is prohibited without prior written authorization.
Kalc is a supplementary training tool, not a substitute for formal teaching or human educational support. The publisher does its best to align content with official school programmes, but does not guarantee:
The publisher cannot be held liable for indirect damages related to the use or inability to use the app.
Kalc is partly aimed at middle school students aged 12-15. Use by a minor under 16 (under 13 in the US under COPPA) requires the consent of a parent or legal guardian. The publisher does not verify this consent and considers it granted once the app is installed.
The publisher reserves the right to evolve Kalc: add, modify, or remove features. Skills unlocked through a lifetime purchase remain accessible in future versions.
These terms may be updated. The date of the last update appears at the top of the document. Significant changes will be announced in the app.
These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, after an attempt at amicable resolution, French courts will have jurisdiction.
